Hi! My name is Kayla.
Who am I? Well, there are many different ways to describe a person. What they look like, their age, characteristics about them… you get the idea.
With the myriad of ways and the inability for me to think of one descriptor, I made a list instead.
- I am a child of God! Purchased by the blood of Christ!
- I just recently graduated from college with a degree in Digital Media Marketing, so 22 and looking for a job.
- If I could get paid to learn, I would choose that as a career in a heartbeat!
- Music is more than just a hobby or something to listen to. Music is the language of the emotions, and well, we all have those days…
- I love seeing the beauty in the everyday.
- When in doubt, buy me a book or a mug. or a lifetime supply of Starbucks.
- Honesty and kindness are both characteristics I strive to emulate in every aspect of life.
One of the reasons that I started this blog was to have a place for all my thoughts to live. I have had social media for years, and I know that you can share some powerful messages through it. But honestly, I think that all the good messages are crowded out by the “picture perfect” lives that are presented. I don’t want to live a picture-perfect life. I want to live the life that God has planned for me. And so, instead of filling my life with the clutter of social media, I turned to blogging.
If you were expecting this to be a how I found the perfect life and so now you can too, I have to apologize. Like I said, I want to be honest. And the truth is, my life is far from perfect.
